Camping around the Rocky Mountains is something you must experience in a camper. It is a beautiful area and waking up to the view of the mountain is something I look forward to. I am from Wisconsin, where I live in a city with noise and the highest thing I see are trees and houses. The Rocky Mountains are beautiful any time of year. I travel with a pop up camper and I am always comfortable. I have stayed at Royal View Campgrounds and Jellystone Park of Estes. They are both great campgrounds. I enjoy hiking, so being in the mountains is great a great way to camp. If I happen around the Denver area, I like to take a drive up to Pikes Peak. Even if the temperature is 102 degrees, the mountains can be as cold as 32 degrees. It is a joy riding up their and seeing the city from above. My girlfriend is not as excited about the drive up there as I am because her side of the car is by the roads edge. I have to laugh every time I take her up there. She is always so worried about the edge. Even at the top, you can see so many different things. You might even see snow. There is nothing better for me than camping around the mountains of Colorado. I see so many beautiful sights and I love the morning views of the Rockies. The campgrounds are always filled with people just like me, who want to wake up and see the mountains with a morning cup of coffee. I would like to move there, but my job keeps me somewhere else, which is okay with me, since I have the time to camp and move around to different campgrounds during the summer months.
