If you have ever been camping in a popup trailer, then try when you go camping in a truck camper, you will find the experience a little different, but not much.
I have never tried a truck camper, but my son started his own camping adventures with a truck camper and he has had a 1993 Ford Ranger and a 1994 Chevrolet on up the line. He now has a new truck with; you got it, a new camper on the back.
He is an avid camper just as I am. He grew up with this as I did as a child. He has even ventured out to Delaware and Connecticut during the colder weather and told me he had a great time and stayed warm in his camper. His camper has everything he needs for camping, that he became accustom to as a kid growing up around campgrounds. He proudly drives this camper truck everywhere during the year.
When we are not camping together, we stay in touch by way of the computer, he tells me his stories, and I share his mother’s and mine as well. He did by a popup trailer awhile back and sometimes if friends come along for the ride, they get to use the popup. He really enjoys his time camping as much as anyone does. He loves the outdoors and the adventures he has while camping.
If he goes back to camping in a truck camper in Delaware this fall, I think I will take the trip with him and see if I stay just as comfortable as he does. I know I will, I have a heater as well as he does. We are a camping family, and we have so much fun meeting new friends and traveling all over the countryside and sharing out experiences with everyone. You could not ask for a better way to enjoy life.
