Before you spend a small fortune on a luxury motor home, let me suggest that you look for a class A RV motor home rental. Taking a trip in a rental RV will let you decide if this is the right recreational vehicle for your lifestyle.

Our very first RV vacation was in a 1997 luxury motor home, which we rented through a broker in Virginia, but was owned by a private individual.

Many dealers that sell new and used RV’s also rent rigs. Most RV rentals are provided by agencies that only do rentals. Some only rent high end RV’s and others have everything from pop up to motor coaches.

Class A motor homes are expensive to rent and insure. It is best to ask for a diesel rig if available because these RV’s will get better mileage than with gas. My friend Jim rents a class A to go to Indiana every year.
