Small Travel Trailers;
Classic American Dream Trailer

Classic American Dream Trailer “Rowboat” combines not only a camper and boat, it brings a vintage teardrop design into modern days by offering simplicity and potential for nature lovers.....

      Portland-based American Dream Trailer Company is not like any other in RV industry.

        Company’s goal was to address a specific group of travel enthusiasts – these loving the Mother Nature and appreciating simplicity of traveling and camping conditions.  Their Classic Dream Camper vintage design revives nostalgic past by proposing to meet the Mother Nature “leaving unnecessary (stuff) behind” and “embracing simplicity”. Indeed the camper is very simply, but offers something very precious: a combo integrating the small travel trailer and the rowboat that “will follow you and your dreams” on the roads less traveled, out of beaten paths…..

       The idea of integrated trailer with boat is not new and dates back to 50’s when a limited series of Kom-Pack Sportsman and Trailorboat were manufactured by correspondingly Oregon’s and Californian companies. For some reasons this brilliant idea never fund support and it took more than 50 years until Mr. Paul Dahlman and his wife (after purchasing an original Trailorboat) decided to revive this great concept. The rest is history as described below…..

The camper offers a simple interior with a comfortable place to sleep 2 persons thanks to custom full-size mattress by Cotton Cloud. The shelf allows keeping with you necessary personal items, but in general, the cabin is a place to sleep. Classic American Dream Trailer combo: Trailer and boat

Boat with oars ready "to go"

      Due to the rooftop boat the American Dream Camper looks a little bigger than it really is – so it should be noted that its interior is quite compact and small, designed to provide sleeping space.

The boat is attached at the top of the camper by heavy-duty latches. Designed specifically for the Classic Dream camper it seamlessly integrates into the trailer’s body. However the shell has its own rood, so when the boat is detached, the camper is fully protected from weather elements.

       The boat is equipped with set of oars, however it is designed for the outboard motor, so if you consider that the local nature can “tolerate” the noise, you can add a 2HP engine. The boat has capacity of 500 lbs so it can take easily 3 people.
