One campground I have found in Wisconsin that caters to the family is Westward Ho. It is set in the Kettle Moraine State Forest and has a western theme for the park. Although beach camping parks in this area are plentiful, this campground has two heated swimming pools for the entire family. Westward Ho has a petting zoo for the kids, live entertainment and movies along with karaoke for the entire family. Miniature golf was my favorite past time at the campgrounds, you just cannot imagine the thrill of camping and playing miniature golf whenever you want. I got into a game of horseshoes one time with a person and we had hours of fun as more people joined us in our little tournament we though up. As you can see, family campground parks provide some fun activities and anyone of any age can enjoy themselves whether you have young children or not. Even though this is not one of the beach camping parks, it still has facilities for swimming.
