My wife and I went to Idaho to do some camping and find something a bit unusual to do. We decided to camp and try skydiving.
Now, we had to take lesson before we could do it ourselves, but we had two weeks to camp and enjoy ourselves, so we had the time.
We have always enjoyed camping, but learning to skydive just added to our enthusiasm.
It was fun learning the sport during the day and sitting around the fire during the nighttime. We met many new people and some were even skydiving with us. We kind of formed our own little club.
Idaho has some incredible attractions that we did get to see when we were not up in the air. We enjoyed the Arts Festival that was in progress when we arrived. It was something we had never gone to before and we saw some beautiful crafts and artworks.
The campgrounds are beautiful and have some activities for everyone to enjoy. We found a group of people that were into horseshoes, so we had to try that little group. It was a lot of fun meeting and doing things with new people. We sure did enjoy every minute we were in Idaho.
We plan to go back during the fall months to se the beautiful colors that we heard so much about. We do want to go before it becomes to cold to enjoy the days and the nights.
The hiking trails and the activities are geared tours families and we really enjoyed that. We like to be around other families and people that just love camping and share stories. We also enjoyed out visit to the Shoshone Indian Ice Caves.
It is an amazing experience that we will be doing again when we return in the fall.
