Now some people have been seen towing behind a pop up trailer. They pull a mini storage trailer that holds firewood or other things they may need.
I personally have never tried this way of travel, so I do not know how the two trailers handle the road tighter.I really would like to know if anyone has ever done this and how it handled on the road and in the mountains.
Now I have seen a 5 wheeler, van and a truck pop up trailer travel this way, but they have a little more stability because they are not towing something already.
Towing behind pop up camper trailer will be different I assume because the tent pop up is attached to your car bumper hitch and the tow behind is attached to your tent pop up trailer.
Towing behind pop up camper trailer might even be illegal in some states, which would be another one of my concerns.
The ideal way to bring extra things along for me is the cargo storage units that fit on top of pop up camper, even on a motorcycle pop up camper as little as they are in towing size.
I have seen people towing behind pop up camper another open trailer for the kids bike, when they could just add a bike rack to the tent pop up trailer and not have to tow the extra weight. I would be real curious to the laws in New Jersey and New Hampshire for towing behind a towed trailer.
I know speed limits vary from state to state for towing a camper or anything for that matter, so maybe there is a law about towing behind pop up camper trailer as well. Someone should check this out to see the limitations before hand.
