They make a truck camper bike rack that attaches to the back of the camper or to the truck itself. When you have the ability to take bikes along, it gives you more adventures without the truck. You can do some trail riding where you would have to walk if you did not have a bike. You seem to get farther when you ride the bikes. Back in 1996, in Florida, I met a family who had a little one that they traveled with and then had the baby carrier on the back, so they could bike anywhere. They had some good stories to tell about camping with a baby as well as her delivery. They evidently forgot to make it back close to home to have the baby and she was born in Georgia instead of their hometown. However, this did not stop them from continuing there summer camping. In addition, the baby swing, which sat out in the screen tent and a bassinet that could easily be moved from one place to another for sleeping? They were very happy with their truck camper and said they had thought about a popup trailer, but decided that the truck was more their style. With the truck camper bike rack, they could easily take the bikes along and they had everything they needed to travel and see the sights. Now I call this dedication to camping. My wife would never have gone camping in her last, six months, much less try to ride a bike with a baby seat on the back.
