When you look through a directory of campgrounds, you will see many Yogi Bear campgrounds sometime also called Yogi Bear Jellystone Park are found in many states throughout the country. I have seen some of these parks and they offer many different things to do for the entire family. I had a chance to stay at the Birchwood Acres in New York and this park was just amazing. The family spray pool that will open in May of 2007 is just wonderful for the kids. It reminds one of an indoor or outdoor water park similar to Blue Harbor in Wisconsin or the Wisconsin Dells area. After viewing some of the pictures of how it will look, I was just amazed at how this campground franchise gives back to the campers who frequent the park. Although beach camping parks have swimming areas, this park will provide an indoor water park or as they call it, family spray pool. If this is not enough for you or your family, you may enjoy a movie or some of the other activities they have provided seven days a week. The landscaping and wooded areas are designed for the adventurous campers in all of us. The Yogi Bear campground park sure puts a spin on camping. It kind of makes a camping trip a real special event. Look through the directory and find the right location and book early before they fill up for the season.
I think I will visit New Your again this year to see just how wonderful the family spray pool is and I will probably take a dip myself. I might even convince my wife to join me.
