       Viking, founded in 1978 is already a brand-name in the RV industry. These days Viking campers are manufactured by Coachmen RV – Division of Forest River Inc. 

      Viking Travel Trailers were designed to meet needs of an average family with kids. In practical words it means:

• Trailers are lightweight (weighting around 2500 lbs) -  easy to tow even by some SUVs or minivans
• Despite “mid-size” dimensions they provide comfort comparable to large trailers (toiled with shower/tub, well equipped kitchen with fridge and dinette, AC and Furnace, walnut cabinetry, extra storage and more…
• They are built to last using quality materials
• They are affordable (created for “budget conscious” families. 

The series of Viking trailers includes the following models: classic 14R, 15RB, 16FB, 17BH, 17FB, 17FQ, 17RD, Viking Saga 16SBH and 17SBH, and two models with pop-out tent-extensions - 16B and 16RDB (front expandable bed is optional).

     All Viking travel trailers are built on powder-coated I-beam frame, aluminum walls with rock guard protection (Diamond Plate front wall protection, 6-sided R-7 insulation and one piece rubber roof. Tinted glass windows and rock guard protected front window offer safety and privacy. All units are also equipped with electric brakes and 4-stabilizing crank-down jacks.

Interiors are finished with residential-grade flooring, walnut cabinetry, high-pressure laminated countertops…. The kitchens include 2-burner LP range with lighted hood, microwave, extra-deep sink w/high rise faucet and 3 cu. ft Dometic Refrigerator. The entertainment center includes TV antenna w/booster and HDTV hookup and Jensen AM/FM/CD/MP3 Stereo.

The full enclosed walk-in bathroom offers the toilet, 36” tub/shower as well as in some models sink with medical cabinet.

Models differ in sleeping capacity depending on internal configuration (extra bunks, dinette convertible to the bed and tent-pop-out bed extensions).

 Finally the 13,500 BTU Air Conditioner and 20,000 BTU furnace and 6 gallons DSI water heater allow for comfortable camping experience from spring till fall. The LP Carbon detector and fire extinguisher are standard features. 

The ten feel long power awning with integrated speakers and patio lights extends the living space to the outdoor area.

Optionally you can also select 40W or 80W portable solar panels to provide better electrical autonomy. 

N0te: All models have fresh water tank capacity of 33 gallons and correspondingly grey and black water tanks of 25 gallons.

      This model provides the rear pop-out/slide-out tent double bed as a standard feature and similar front unit as an option. Such arrangement makes the living area roomy and more comfortable.

Notice that there is no dedicated bed, however the dining area converts into a comfortable sleeping place. The bunk offers an extra sleeping area. The benefit of this solution is the increased cargo weight. With ample storage areas it allows you to take a lot of gear for vacations.

     Notice the wardrobe, convenient bath with 36’ tub/shower (unusual in mid-size trailers). The 32” x 72” dinette offers enough of space for preparing and consuming meals. The ample pantry storage dedicated for food and fridge allow for “enjoying” the culinary art even away from home.

The 54” x 74” bed features storage on all three sides, above (overheads) and beneath …. This model confirms that “small is beautiful”, but also when well designed it is comfortable.

The double bed with storage space, bunks for kids and the dinette convertible into the sleeping space makes this trailer perfect for larger family. The kitchen galley with pantry for food, cabinets, counter-top and bathroom with tub/shower certainly will meet the needs of up to five persons.

     This model has all the amenities and conveniences to make your vacations a great, long lasting memory. The walk-around queen bed up front will provide a restful nights sleep and there is plenty of storage with overhead cabinetry, shirt closets, and night-stands on both sides of the bed. In the rear of the trailer there is a complete full bath with 36" tub/shower, toilet, and sink with medicine cabinet.
